Continuing to build the larger warehouse-ish buildings for a planned game in October. Not sure how far along I need to be by what date to decide if I’m running this game or not. But if things keep at this pace, I should be good. Really need to work up a plan and schedule it out. Along with playtesting.
On to the buildings! Paint has been applied. Primer is always boring, used pretty stock colors to get the base coats on. Still working through a Satin brown primer that I bought before I remembered that Satin is not Matte.
First up, the smaller building. In the previous post, this is the building where it was being held with clamps. Had to fabricate a portion to fill the gap in the front face and provide a door. For all of these buildings I drew on my sad and depressing knowledge of ugly government building color choices.
I had to build-up the front and back peaked sides for this. Had the roof parts and enough of the shorter side panels. Worked out pretty well.

The big building. I’m liking the look of this one. Ugly generic public works blue.
All that’s left is a few coats of matte sealer and they should be done.
I have a couple more buildings from last Saturday’s $20 buy to clean up and get ready. For the con game I need to fill either a 4’x4′ game area or a 4’x6′. I’ll have to try a quick layout and see how much these take up.
Also, to go with the buildings, I will need stuff for inside. Some vignettes and objectives.
More to come.
